- Covering up your furniture as much as you can is a good idea. You may have been provided with covers for your furniture when you bought it but if not then you can buy ones to fit; they are available in almost every shape and size. Good covers might work out a bit more expensive but it really is worth paying that bit extra to make sure that your patio furniture is protected and lasts longer.

- It is a good idea to completely clean your patio furniture before you cover it up. This will ensure that they still look good when you take the covers off next summer.

- It is worth checking over the winter months to see that your furniture is fully protected by the covers.
